We fly rockets after sunset at the final launch of the year in Massachusetts. Model rockets launching at night should have lights on them so they can be seen and recovered safely.
The night launch is a special event - only a few club members stick around to participate. But it's a beautiful way to end the season, and then we all go out to dinner.
